More than just casinos
Atlantic City is a fun getaway. The Boardwalk is massive and great for a long walk with ocean views. There's a cool energy with all the lights, sounds, and people. It's a unique place that blends beach town with big city entertainment.
Clean beaches, great views
The beach itself was surprisingly wide and clean. It was nice to just sit and watch the waves without it feeling too crowded. Perfect for a relaxing day away from all the noise. The Steel Pier in the distance adds a classic backdrop.
Fun night out
Atlantic City has an exciting nightlife. The casinos are impressive, with so much to see and do even if you don't gamble. We walked through several, and each one had a different feel. The energy around the Borgata area was especially high.
Great outlet shopping
I was really impressed with the Tanger Outlets. It's an outdoor mall with a huge selection of brand-name stores. It was nice to take a break from the Boardwalk and find some good deals. Very easy to walk to from most of the main hotels.
Classic boardwalk experience
Walking the Boardwalk is a must. We stopped at a few classic spots for some salt water taffy and fudge. It feels like stepping back in time. The rolling chairs are a neat feature, and there are plenty of places to sit and people-watch.
Good entertainment options
We saw a comedy show while we were in town and the venue was top-notch. It's cool that so many big names perform here. Made the trip feel like a proper vacation, with more to do than just the usual beach and casino stuff.
